If you need a perfect reason to get away over the weekend, this is one!  Follow our Photo Master Guek Peng Siong across the Causeway into Mersing (Johor), on a 3D2N photo adventure that focuses mainly on Astrophotography.

Travel in luxury in a Toyota Alphard, with like-minded photo enthusiasts in a small group departure.   Peng Siong would be sharing his secrets and techniques in getting those amazing Milky Way shots, and will be assisting our esteemed participants as they set up their camera to capture those moments.

Only 6 slots are available.  Minimum 4 photographers to go.

The Photo Master on trip:

Guek Peng Siong, is an engaging, knowledgeable and approachable instructor whose consummate photography skills is demonstrated via his versatility different genres of photography.  Known affectionately as the “Astro Man”, Peng Siong is one of the few masters in the field of Astrophotography.  The unique skill and passion in the constellations have brought him to various places in the region to do astrophotography, and he takes the opportunity to lead enthusiastic participants to share his vision.

An active photography mentor, he also finds time to serve as Vice-Chairman of the SAFRA Photo Club, and mentors the New Media Team of Toa Payoh East Community Centre.

Every trip has a maximum of 6 seats available.  Minimum 4 to travel.

Itineraries

Day 1

Time : 8:00 pm

Departure - Singapore

- Meet at designated pickup point in Singapore - Proceed to cross Causeway in luxury Alphard - Check-in at lodge (basic accommodation) - Supper (if time permits) - Astrophotography (weather-permitting)

Day 2

Mersing

- Basic Breakfast in lodge - Proceed to Mersing Town for some photography & lunch - Rest & Relax till sunset - Sunset photo opportunities - Dinner in Mersing Town - Astrophotography (weather permitting)

Day 3

Departure

- Basic Breakfast in lodge - Check-out by 11am - Proceed to Kota Tinggi for some photography & lunch - Depart for Singapore in mid afternoon

These are specially curated trips for photo enthusiasts to visit a destination in small groups. These tours are meant to be slow paced, taking into careful considerations that photographers need time to create their masterpieces.

Yes, you are most welcomed to sign up as our tours are opened to all participants around the world. Our tours start at the arriving airport of our destination, and as long as you can reach and meet us at the airport arrival hall , that would be fine.

No, of course not. Users of all camera brands and all skill levels are welcomed. A professional photo master would also be readily available to assist on any photography-related queries.

No, This is because our clients may be coming from all parts of the world, or they may want to use their airline mileage to claim their flights. Therefore, our tours would start at the arriving airport, and similarly concludes at the airport of international departure.

e would strongly advise that you book your tours once you can confirm your interest. This is partly because we can only confirm and go ahead with a trip once we achieved our minimum confirmed number. In addition, usually the best accommodation runs out really quickly, and the sooner we can get a group going, the better it would be to secure the best available accommodation and to confirm the tour.

A trip would be confirmed once we achieved our minimum stated number of guests. In the unlikely event that this is not met, we will inform interested guests if the tour would proceed, about 14 days prior to departure. Full deposits paid would be refunded accordingly.

Once a trip is confirmed, TopLiners Club will contact each guest separately to book the air-tickets as soon as possible.

We will advise you via email once the trip is confirmed. This could be as soon as the minimum tour number is met, or when a decision to proceed is reached by TopLiners Club. Please do not proceed to purchase your international air-tickets until you have verified the confirmation of your tour with us.

We generally use 4 star or a higher category. However in some remote locations, we may work with the best available in that area. We will always ensure our guests of clean, comfortable accommodation to the best that we can arrange.

Yes you can. However, this is subjected to availability and single supplement would apply. Our tours are generally quoted base on twin/triple basis.

We accept bank transfers and cheques. For our overseas customers, we have payment options which we will advise separately, depending on the country our client is in.

Unless specifically specified, all tours are transacted in Singapore Dollars (S$).

Unfortunately, we would not be able to process any refunds unless it is on humanity grounds relating to the guests or his/her immediate family members. In the case of such refunds, a finance fee of at least S$100 would apply. Please contact us for more information.

We ensure that all local taxes and applicable fees are inclusive in your quotation, so you know the final price. However, there may be situations where a sudden increase in fees or government levies may arise, which is not in our control. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to communicate this to our guest(s) as soon as possible and a slight increase in the tour price would be expected.

Yes you can. However, please note that there is an admin charge of 4.4%,, which is imposed by the payment gateway, Paypal.

We would strongly recommend our local customers to pay via paynow, or bank transfer so as not to incur the additional charges. Alternatively, please check out our other mode of payment under the FAQ, "What are your modes of payment?".

  3. Meals (Lunch & Dinner) would be at own expenses.
  4. Accommodation for this trip would be at a lodge, resort or hotel with clean but basic amenities.  This is due to the proximity of shooting location.
  5. Single room Supplement is available at S$80.
  6. Meeting place for Singapore would be advised once trip is confirmed.
